Acid Wash

As any boat owner knows, your boat hull is constantly exposed to the elements, not only when in the water but also when stored on land. These elements result in the hull sustaining damage and oxidisation over time. This is why at JR Marine Services, we highly recommend a regular acid wash for your vessel.

A boat’s gel coating will oxidise and stain over time, leading the boat to lose its gloss and shine. An acid wash is used as a way to remove the oxidisation, bring back the colour to the hull and remove staining, all at an affordable value.

To help bring the shine of your boat back to its best, we offer machine polishing to protect the boat from sun, salt and other elements whilst retaining the gloss and colour of your hull for much longer.
